Dear Students, Parents, and Members of the Mount Abu School Community,
It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to Mount Abu School, Ansal Sushant City, Panipat.
As I begin my journey with the Mount Abu family, I look forward to working with our students, educators, parents, and the wider community to build a school where every child feels valued, every question is welcomed, and every learner is encouraged to discover their own potential.
I firmly believe that education is not merely about completing a syllabus or achieving marks. True education is about preparing children for life—to think independently, communicate confidently, solve problems creatively, make responsible choices, and above all, grow into compassionate and principled human beings.
Our classrooms must therefore be spaces where children do more than listen and remember. Th
y should question, explore, collaborate, experiment, create and reflect. Learning should connect with the world around them and give children opportunities to understand why they are learning, not simply what they are learning.
Guided by the vision of NEP 2020, we aspire to strengthen foundational learning while progressively nurturing critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, digital awareness, physical well-being and emotional development. Our focus will always remain on the whole child, recognising that every learner has different strengths, interests, abilities and ways of learning.
Being in Panipat gives us an especially rich environment for learning. Our city carries a remarkable heritage of enterprise, craftsmanship, culture and resilience. I believe our children should learn not only from books, but also from their community, environment, history and the world beyond the classroom.
As Principal, one of my strongest beliefs is that a great school is built collectively. It is built by educators who continue to learn, parents who partner with the school, and children who bring their curiosity and dreams every day. My role is not simply to lead the school, but to create an environment where people feel empowered to contribute, grow and do their best.
Together, I envision Mount Abu School as a place where academic excellence and strong character go hand in hand; where discipline comes with dignity; where creativity has a voice; and where every child gets the opportunity to shine.
My commitment is simple:
To nurture confident learners, compassionate human beings and responsible citizens—rooted in values, ready for the future, and courageous enough to make a difference.
I warmly invite every member of our school community to be a part of this journey. There is much to learn, much to build and much to achieve—and I look forward to doing it together.
Warm Regards
Dr. Shhefali Magan
